Wolf, 'Mosi keeping watch'

This is one of the photos I took on the Wild Arena "In the Company of Wolves" photo day back in January. Specifically, this is Mosi, one of the members of the "Canadian Pack" at the UK Wolf Conservation Trust (aka UKWCT, UKWolf).

This has had a bit of tweaking -- most notably the horizon has been straightened (yes the 7D has a digital spirit-level, no I don't use it). I actually overexposed this in-camera: I had Exp Comp set to +2/3EV (two-thirds of a stop more exposure), and the trees actually cancelled out the snow -- the metering would have been fine without the compensation. Still, knocking a stop off the exposure and enabling Highlight Recovery in Bibble5 fixed that. Again, the WB has been fixed (the 7D hates snow!) and I've cropped back to get rid of the borders left by the straightening.
